Planning Board

The planning board upholds and implements the community’s development policies through the review and approval of subdivision proposals, site plans, and special use permits. The planning board also reviews any proposed amendments to the zoning laws and advises the Town Board on those matters.

The planning board is responsible for determining what is best for the community as a whole, and in making this decision, they use tools, including comprehensive plans, zoning laws and sub-division regulations to ensure that the changes made are for the betterment of the community.
